A Cary native raised by two Wolfpack graduates, Lydia defied the wishes of her red-blooded parents and became an Appalachain State Mountaineer to follow her two life-long loves – the mountains and her soon-to-be-husband who she met in 3rd grade.
After dabbling in the worlds of psychology, design and studio art, Lydia turned her fascination with how people connect into a communications major and career where she’s able to stimulate her creativity in a more focused and applied fashion.
Honing her marketing skills as a swiss-army knife-like member of the in-house marketing team for a large grocery chain, Lydia helps guide R+M relationships with her client-side insights and proven skills in creative, content and brand strategy. A former Creative Media Director at a regional design studio, Lydia brings with her a mental rolodex of best practices and understanding of simplistic design to not only communicate with target markets, but connect emotionally.
Now toss in the fact that this (super)woman can damn near see the big picture from a kickoff meeting AND wrote her honors thesis on influencer marketing … And yeah, we’re just a wee bit excited she’s on our team.
When she’s not adding another tool to her toolbelt, Lydia can be found sipping wine, devouring desert before dinner, and daydreaming about Fall football weather with her only son – Winston the cat.
