Sigma Xi

Sigma Xi is the international honor society of science and engineering. One of the oldest and largest scientific organizations in the world, Sigma Xi has more than 200 Nobel Prize winning members.

Unfortunately their membership has been aging. They were looking to identify, nurture and celebrate the brightest young minds to join the prestigious society to continue the legacy that is Sigma Xi.

Services We Delivered

Unique Value Proposition
Identity Development
Employee Brand Alignment

To accomplish their goal, Sigma Xi launched Chronicle of The New Researcher, a professionally curated journal for pre-collegiate research in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). But they needed a logo that could help tell that story.

Logos

We utilized our THIRST® process to provide a solid foundation that was on brand for Sigma Xi. After we developed their personality and messaging, we developed the logo.

It’s one of our all-time favorites. Not necessarily because of the design, but the story is so rich and so perfect. The THIRST process is so important to our creative. It’s smart creative. It’s Creative That Sticks.

“I didn’t think anyone could visualize my intentions and communicate what I needed to convey. This is exactly right. I can’t imagine it being any better than this. You have completely exceeded my expectations.”

Richard Wiggins, Former Managing Editor, Chronicle of The New Researcher, Sigma Xi
