Cary, N.C. – May 18, 2010 – R+M speaks at record-attended, second annual RecruitCamp, held in RTP.

RecruitCamp (2) was held on April 23, 2010 at Quintiles Transnational with over 150 recruitment marketing professionals in attendance. Speakers included nationally recognized Punk Rock HR’s blogger and CNN’s career website top five pick, Laurie Ruettimann. Also, the first annual SOCRA awards were presented to recognize leadership in social recruiting, with Deloitte New Zealand walking away with top honor.

R+M’s president, Beverly Murray and Greg Norton, executive vice president, both participated in RecruitCamps recent success as speakers. Beverly Murray shared, “We loved the format and topic for the event. The attendees were not there for the status quo, they were there to mix it up, to challenge themselves and to question the speakers. Our focus was on the untapped value employees provide to the brand. The perfect opportunity for HR and Marketing to work together.”

RecruitCamp is an event designed to bring recruiters and recruiting leaders together to meet their peers, network and learn the difference between the hype and the reality of recruitment strategy, social media and technology.

“Our team carefully selected speakers who could not only bring a high-value perspective to the stage, but also the energy to match. I fell in love with R+M’s passion a decade ago — their spot-on creative, holistic strategy and willingness to work a solution so hard your brain sweats. Bev and Greg lit it up at RecruitCamp,” shared Rob Humphrey, RecruitCamp creator.
